The SEG can support VET4EU2 by providing advice if there are discussions related to a common strategy for VET policy as it has been pursued by the EU and other world organisations, such as OECD, ILO and UNESCO. This means that VET4EU2 can formulate every year a number of issues that are important for the work that can be done by this platform, being part of meetings with DG E and other organisations. They can be discussed with the SEG, based on the expertise that its members have.
The results of these discussions of (a part of) the SEG with a delegation from VET4EU2, focused on specific topics and developments, can be used by the VET4EU2 platform.
The SEG can also provide solicited and unsolicited advice to VET4EU2 on the basis of the available expertise, in view of research that is being done into developments that are directly or indirectly important for the VET sector.
The members of the SEG can also be involved in projects on the basis of specific agreements.
